Privacy Agreement

Last updated: 9 October 2026.

This is the consent you give when you send us something through toprato.com — a review, a reply to a review, or any form on the site. It is written out in full here so you can read it before you agree to it, not after.

It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes everything the site does with data, including the parts that do not need your consent at all.

What you are agreeing to

When you tick the consent box or press submit on a review or a form on toprato.com, you give Toprato — the operator of this site — your consent to process the personal data contained in that submission, on the terms set out below.

Giving this consent is your choice and nothing on this site depends on it. You can read every rating, every comparison and every review without agreeing to anything. The consent matters only if you want to submit something yourself. If you would rather not give it, simply do not send the form.

Who you are giving it to

Toprato, the operator of toprato.com. Contact address for everything in this document: [email protected].

What data the consent covers

  • your email address, and the one-time code we send to it;
  • the star rating you choose;
  • the text of your review, reply or message, including anything you choose to type into it;
  • any other field you fill in on a form, where a form asks for it;
  • the technical details recorded with the submission: IP address, browser and device, and the time you sent it.

Nothing else. We do not ask for your name, your phone number, your address or any document, and this consent does not extend to them.

What we may do with it

You agree that we may collect, record, store, organise, check, use, publish, amend for formatting, restrict, remove and delete that data, by automated means and by hand, for the purposes below and no others:

  • confirming that a real person sent the submission, by emailing you a one-time code;
  • publishing your review, your rating and your replies on the service page and its reviews page;
  • moderating what is published, so the page is not taken over by spam, advertising or abuse;
  • replying to you, and publishing a reply under your review;
  • contacting you about that submission if something about it needs clarifying;
  • protecting the site from flooding and automated abuse.

We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not pass it to the company you reviewed or to any partner.

Your review is published, and that is the point

A review exists to be read by other people. Once you submit it, your rating, your text, the date and your replies become visible to anyone who opens the page.

Your email address is never published. It is not shown on the page, not shown to the company you reviewed, and not visible to other readers.

Because a published review is public, search engines and other websites may index or copy it. If you later ask us to remove it, we will take it off toprato.com, but we cannot reach into copies other people have already made. Write accordingly: put in what you want the world to read, and nothing you would not.

What you confirm when you submit

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • The email address is yours and you can receive mail at it.
  • What you describe is your own experience, and you hold the rights to the text you wrote.
  • Your text contains no other person's personal data, no credentials, seed phrases or private keys, no card or account numbers, and nothing unlawful, defamatory or deliberately false.

If a submission breaks any of this, we may decline or remove it, and we delete anything in it that should not have been sent.

How long the consent lasts

Until you withdraw it, or until the purpose it was given for has run out — whichever comes first. For a review, that normally means as long as the review stays on the site.

How to withdraw it

Write to [email protected] from the email address you used when you submitted. Say what you want removed. We take the review off the site and delete the email address stored with it, and we do not ask you for a reason.

Withdrawing consent stops any further processing. It does not undo what was lawfully done while the consent was in force, and it does not remove copies that other sites made while the review was public.

Everything else

The full picture — what the site collects without any consent at all, which outside services are involved, how long each kind of data is kept and what rights you have — is in our Privacy Policy.

If anything in this document is unclear, ask before you submit: [email protected].
