Myth 1: «High past returns = future returns». Top traders on the leaderboard often post results from a short period of high volatility. Stable returns over 6–12 months are far more informative than +500% in 1 month.
Myth 2: «Fees are charged on profit only». The standard 10–20% profit share looks acceptable, but in active trading a trader can generate high turnover with a modest bottom line — while you bear your actual losses from losing trades in full.
